Sigma Ratings | NEW YORK — The team at Sigma Ratings is becoming truly unstoppable with Alexandre de Villiers joining in 2023. As Chief of Staff - VP of Operations, Alexandre will be instrumental in taking Sigma Ratings to the next level of growth.

In his role, Alexandre will head operations, drive strategy and implement processes to help the company reach business goals across product, engineering and growth. As co-founders Stuart Jones, Jr. and Gabrielle Haddad focus on high-level initiatives and partnerships, Alexandre will take ownership of day-to-day operations and provide data-driven insights to ensure strong cohesion among senior leaders.

“I chose to join Sigma because I believe in the vision, the product and the leadership team,” Alexandre shared. “I was looking for the opportunity to help a larger startup with a solid foundation to grow into a more mature organization, all while working on an interesting problem with a great team. After studying Finance and International Relations at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, Alexandre spent 5 years at the ION group, first in their Leadership Development Program, then as a fixed-income trading consultant for global banks in the U.S., Canada and Europe, and finally as head of client relationship management. Alexandre got his MBA from MIT Sloan in 2022. While in Massachusetts, he helped launch CoVerified, a healthcare technology platform that helps large corporations, government and nursing homes reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and ran operations as COO for close to three years.
