TS Imagine Partners with Cassini Systems to Offer Intelligent Margin and Collateral Derivatives Analytics to Prime Brokers and Hedge Funds
LONDON – TS Imagine, the leading global, cross-asset provider of real-time trading, portfolio, and risk management solutions for financial institutions, and Cassini Systems (‘Cassini’), the leading provider of pre-and post-trade margin and collateral analytics for derivatives market participants, today announced a strategic partnership that will see enhanced, intelligent margin and collateral analytics available through TS Imagine’s product suite.
The strategic partnership means that TS Imagine’s technology users will benefit from access to Cassini’s intelligent analytics across over-the-counter (OTC) and exchange-traded derivatives (ETD) products, and Prime Brokers, complementing the firm’s existing suite of proprietary cross-asset analytics. Cassini’s highly specialized offering will give investment and risk teams front-to-back margin and cost analysis across the entire lifecycle of a trade.
Cassini’s platform provides the only full front-to-back solution covering margin, collateral, and cost analytics for all classes of cleared and uncleared OTC derivatives and futures and options. The partnership allows integration of these core competencies within TS Imagine’s product suite, enabling users to bring post-trade analytics into the pre-trade process.
With this integration, TS Imagine users can now calculate margin requirements, optimize collateral usage in derivatives markets, analyze drivers and movement in margin exposure, reduce initial margin levels, and maximize margin efficiency.
Andrew Morgan, president and chief revenue officer at TS Imagine, said: “Today’s announcement combines decades of experience in our respective fields to deliver our clients a comprehensive and in-depth suite of analytics. Working closely with Cassini, we can help investment and risk management teams streamline workflows, cut complexity, and control their total cost of ownership. This partnership will draw on the strong synergies between our businesses to deliver our clients best-in-breed functionality through a single system – a significant advantage in fast-paced markets.”
Liam Huxley, CEO and founder of Cassini Systems, said: “We have built Cassini System’s margin and collateral analytics capabilities over many years to help firms trade and manage their exposures in highly complex derivatives markets. This partnership is an important milestone for both firms, opening our powerful customized calculations and analytics to new audiences in combination with TS Imagine’s technology to empower users across the hedge fund and prime brokerage space.”
The partnership with Cassini follows the announcement earlier in September that TS Imagine is partnering with regulatory compliance solutions provider, eflow, to bring trade surveillance capabilities into its existing suite of execution, order, and portfolio management solutions. In August, TS Imagine also announced that it is working with brokerage and investment group, CLSA, adding the firm’s AI-powered European algo suite to its list of certified brokers.
